Or imagine Thoreau in the American West.

"I went to the woods - oh shoot you mean I have to walk all the way to Oregon; I'm out."

Grilled some swiss cheeseburgers outside in 28 degree weather, and served them with french fries on the side.

Let's put it this way it has been years and Schumer still hasn't figured out that how he wears his glasses like he is a cranky librarian hurts Democrats politically.

The only major difference between the far left and the far right is who they want to kill.

I'm sorry about the Gators, but the good news is that you have the one thing Kentucky cares about and that is the NCAA Men's Basketball title.

I've experienced Christmas Day on the Fourth of July out here in the Intermountain West.

I should note that the jury did make sure that they did get lunch before delivering the verdict.

It turns out that not only will a grand jury not indict a ham sandwich, but a trial jury won't convict one either.

That is touching.

The reality is that the whole Foghorn Leghorn thing with Kennedy is an act. He is actually very intelligent, and he first ran for the Senate in 2004 and lost in the Democratic primary.

Tuberville wants history to remember him as a bigot.

And as a Georgia fan I just have no respect for him as a coach because he told Ole Miss fans "They'll have to carry me out of here in a pine box," and then two days later he is at Auburn.

Part of problem is that millions of evangelicals aren't reacting with horror to this story like you, I, and many others are doing, but with either indifference or with pleasure.

The Trump Administration has and continues to call people who attacked cops with far worse than a sandwich "hostages," and it gave every single one of them pardons for what they did on January 6. So to me this is the only truly just and right verdict.

Also, I love that the jury got lunch!

Honestly, the ICE officer was wearing body armor when a sandwich hit him. He can cry me a river for all I care because Tony Curtis took a pie, not a cream pie, but a real pie with fruit in it in his face, and he had it easy compared to everyone else in one of the great pie fights in film history.

It's the one check the Founders put in that has impressed me the most. When a corrupt President faced it, he was found guilty 34 times. He couldn't rig it like he did the Senate trials or have 3 justices he appointed vote to give him immunity.

Agreed, and they no longer have earned the benefit of the doubt.

I agree that it is generally wrong to throw stuff at law enforcement, but I still vote not guilty. The reason is simple, and that is because I have been told that people who actually violently assaulted law enforcement with things far worse than a sandwich were peaceful, and just normal tourists.

I don't do much hunting, and bird hunting is well, I just go get a bucket of fried chicken instead. That being said a great-uncle of mine who was into pheasant hunting in South Dakota way back in the day (approx. 50's - 70's), and he used a 16 gauge Winchester Model 97.

The Howa 1500 is an excellent rifle from what I know, and the Weatherby Vanguard is essentially a Howa 1500. The 6.5 Creedmoor is great for deer, but marketing did help make it popular.

To this day I can walk a person through my first deer hunt. It was a 2x2 Mule that I got via stalking, and

George Washington got two years of essentially retirement when he finally ended his career in public service. He was 67 when he passed, but he understood the value of sitting on his porch and enjoying the view. Modern politicians should learn that lesson from him.
