When will we go back to the internet where we cared about the quality of revenue and customer satisfaction, instead of quick cash and burned brands?

I was reviewing a A/B Test of a shoe size filter for an online shop. The only output value they focussed on was revenue. Not customer satisfaction. Not return rate. Nothing else. Pure monetary impact on a short span.

Buy. Buy. Buy.

Fun fact, I have programmed a algorithmic language for the main species of the game. Yes, you heard right, "programmed" and "algorithmic" language.

Including a helper tool (atm only for myself) to generate determanistic and persistent lexicon of words. I will surely go deeper into the lore soon.

I feel slightly disgusted but also culinarily aroused by the idea of oatmeal as a stew.

Back then I was convinced that Covid19 times and the misinformation-spread back then would teach us a lesson about fact checking. Oh I was so wrong.

And to be fair, O'Toole is absolutely right about it.

Back in 2021 I have predicted for PEW Research, that until 2025 we will have learned critical thinking and better decision making about our uses of digital technologies. Rightfully he called it out, mentioning the age of rampant disinformation.

I should continue this. Sorry. The past months have been a real struggle for me personally. A lot of things happened in my private, personal life. I am getting back on my feet right now after I changed a few things, including moving back to the Müggelsee. Time just flows different here 😍
