Also, what happened to fact-checking his speeches? He told so many lies. It took moments on bsky for people to point out DC’s murder rate wasn’t zero. He politicized the speech—Presidents used to be heavily criticized for politicizing an address to the nation after an act of war.

I heard him interviewed on WNYC during the interregnum between the 2024 election and inauguration. He was asked what we could expect from Trump on the economy. His answer was telling: lower fossil fuel energy prices. This, and securing access to rare earth minerals, drive most of T’s foreign policy.

For years, the dirty little secret about college admissions was that college’s essentially practiced affirmative action for male applicants. High School girls are better students, have higher grades in average, and make better college candidates. For gender balance, schools have men an advantage.

Can’t wait for them to vote on this. Perfect content for 2028 Democratic campaign attack ads.

“Skandalakis said he considered severing Trump’s case from his codefendants to try them first…However, he said, doing so “would be...unduly burdensome and costly for the State and for Fulton County.”

So, basically, defending Democracy costs too much and is too much trouble!
