Tried to put together a “my first Christmas tree” for my 2 year old. He only wants the base that it sits in and had the biggest tantrum I’ve ever seen if I tried to put the rest of it together. He also likes the ornaments. We’ll try again tomorrow.

Mild spoiler for #welcometoderry but what is with all the pregnancy body horror?! I’m a gal who can handle her gore but it seems even at the tender age of 34 I can still be icked and squicked beyond my comfort levels. All in all, like the show and I’ll keep watching (thru my fingers.)

Of course the blower motor in my car only goes out when it’s 1.) a holiday weekend and 2.) we decided to go out of town for one night and 3.) I live in the south.

I always thought my world building for my fantasy novel would be hours of time figuring out religious pantheons and practices. Instead, I’ve spent 25 minutes ruminating on what fantasy creature I can create that would be like a giraffe but not a giraffe simply for one reference by my main character

Writers of things (books, tv, movies), please stop making your female characters pregnant or infertile simply because you can’t think of any other personal struggle for women. Sincerely, it’s overdone and I’m bored.
