Something happened that requires me to look for my old stash. I found this - my very first no pattern #knitting project before I switched to fulltime crochet. It was supposed to be a small pillow with #charmander & #cyndaquil. Now I need to make time to finish it.

Never did a crab stitch until today. The stitch pattern looks amazing on this mini basket.

It's a trouser for a doll piece.

This whole thing doesn't make sense to me. Just mindlessly follow instruction until the partition in the middle to form the leg hole. And it clicked.

So silly 😜 considering its not my first time doing this.

There was a time when scammers have my Instagram on their watchlist. It's automated, foreign accounts would dm me the moment I posted something. They have a specific writing pattern that seems to indicate they are the same person.

Very unmotivating at the time but they are gone now. 😒

This is embarrassing. I found it among the yarns two days ago.

At first, I thought it was the mental case of imagining myself gave this to her in my head and thought it's done. Then I remembered I was anxious about an unwanted trip and forgot about it.

She found an original design using felt on Tiktok, I made it with crochet. I think I will adjust its head to be a little bit taller if I have an opportunity to make another.

A birthday gift for my mom's birthday in early January. 🧶

My new goal is to make enough original works and sell them in a booth somewhere. It's an ambitious one.

Entering my fifth year in crocheting, I have only made 90 projects. I'm putting it as a goal as opposed to an immediate task. I have two pending commissions after all. 🧶

I have plans but following through the plans is another matter entirely. I ran away by playing video games, burying my disappointment towards myself, as I can't handle the frustrations and difficulties of a hobby that I want to do in a state of absolute relaxation.

I named my crochet crafts "Coral's Crochet" and I'm here to try this bluesky platform.

Perhaps, this could be a place where I can be more chatty about my work. I felt that FB and IG are more of a marketing platform.
