Growing up, my parents argued a lot. Books saved me. Couldn't afford headphones so I had to concentrate really hard on what I was reading to not hear the noise. As an adult, I read a book a week because I enjoy it so much and every once in awhile it is still good to escape. 🙃

I have read all of Barbara Kingsolver's books and this one was her best! She tells incredible stories in a relatable dialogue. I couldn't tear myself away from this one when I read it. Strongly recommend!
