@SunDancer Rules as written, they are mandatory for vehicles which come with bases (a lot of rules are “measure to the base” with specific exceptions for vehicles which don’t come with one).

@Quasit What really makes me twitch is people who refer to the GM/DM/Keeper/etc as "the Master" without specifying what they are master of (I suspect it might be common in some regions where English is spoken as a second language).

@Bluedonkey I ditched it a while ago after my instance announced it was going to shutdown and the migration features didn’t work.

I get the impression that it’s a project by a solo developer who talks a good game but isn’t focused enough on reliability or the small but important things.

@martin Ah, that's different then. It isn't just making all combats miserable all the time. It comes back to "Combat is a failure state". I think it could work so long as players get to go in to the situation where the rule applies with their eyes open.

@martin I’m not fond of critical failure rules at the best of times. It was a common house rule in the 3.x era but missing feels bad enough without adding 5% of the time something worse happens so you or a friend take damage or have to spend next turn dealing with not having a weapon is awful […]
