Lent starts this week, and I'll be observing by fasting from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.—a bit adjusted since I have to take medication twice a day. Looking forward to the season of reflection and discipline. Anyone else giving up something for Lent this year?

This fantastic image by Robert Gendler features the Pleiades, an asterism of an open star cluster visible in the constellation Taurus.

The most recent estimate of its distance, based on the Gaia Data Release 3, is 135.74±0.10 parsecs (roughly 443 ly).

As we are able to observe further towards the beginning, even more questions develop. This quasar is much smaller than the average but the energy jets are super powerful and long in distance.

A 200,000-Light-Year Jet Ignites New Questions About the Early Cosmos
Astronomers have discovered a massive, double-lobed radio jet stretching 200,000 light-years from a quasar that existed when the Universe was just 1.2 billion years old. This groundbreaking find, made...

Could it be that stars and galaxies are really quantum components of a universe that is itself an organ/ organism even cell of a larger multiversal world where each universe is it's plays in the role in structure.?
