Yeah, I have a couple friends (not artists) who get pissed about artists still using Twitter but linking stuff back to bluesky, calling them cowards and shit. I’m just like, dude, it’s their livelihood, Twitter’s intentionally entrenched themselves, don’t be a prick.

I think most bigger artists would be willing to give a shoutout or something to newer artists trying to make a following if they ask. I know when Bluesky started, everyone was making lists and such to make it easier to find each other.

I get a lot of people telling me they won’t leave Twitter because Bluesky is more restrictive/the discourse is worse/the people are just as bad/ etc. etc. etc.
I’ve certainly not seen it, but I basically just hang around the few artists I know who have transferred over and like their posts, lol.
