I’ll never stop fighting for Missouri’s 1st District. We deserve a true leader that delivers lower costs, better healthcare, clean air and water, and justice for all. #CoriForUs

St. Louis deserves a leader who is built different. That’s why I’m running to represent Missouri’s 1st District in Congress.

We need a fighter who will lower costs, protect our communities, and make life fairer. I’ll be that fighter.

The GOP is threatening to tank the entire economy in the name of “fiscal responsibility.”

What’s responsible about tanking the economy, exactly?

🧵Marjorie Taylor Greene’s words about Rep Bowman are a result of the exclusion of Black History being taught in schools

Stating she doesn’t feel safe around a Black man is what a racist would say — it’s a line that has been used to justify the killing of Black men for centuries

George Floyd.
Trayvon Martin.
Breonna Taylor.
Ahmaud Arbery.
Jordan Neely.

It’s white supremacy that’s killing us.

I stand with Jamaal.

She’s not a victim. Full stop.

This is the same playbook that perpetrators of police brutality and gun violence use to justify killing Black people.

“I was afraid.”

After they killed Michael Brown.
After they killed Tamir Rice.
After they killed Philando Castile.

Not only is MTG a white supremacist, her playbook isn’t even original and the response is all too predictable.

By drawing a false equivalency between being called a white supremacist vs. the n-word, and claiming she feared Rep. Bowman, she’s making herself out to be a victim.

Slavery.
Black codes.
Jim Crow.
Redlining.
Mass incarceration.

Every step of the way, Black Americans have been intentionally pushed back economically. A debt is owed.

It’s time to pay that debt. It’s time for reparations.
Reparations Now!

Black women carry more student debt than any other group in America — and carry it the longest.

It’s no coincidence that the GOP is standing in the way of canceling student debt.

If Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz’s PPP loans can be canceled, we can cancel student debt.

Four nights.
Five days.

That’s how long we stayed on the steps of the Capitol demanding an extension to the eviction moratorium.

Meanwhile, Justice Thomas was looking out for his “friend’s” business.

It’s time to impeach him. https://t.co/STDc5ZuS3w
Thomas Helped Kill Eviction Ban Threatening Benefactor’s Business
Harlan Crow’s company said tenant protections threatened its profits. Thomas twice voted to end them while Crow lavished him with gifts.

In 2023, over 400 anti-trans bills have been introduced across our country.

We need to call it what it is: a deliberate campaign by the GOP to erase trans people.

It’s an attack on human rights.
