Had to do a little bit of intonation adjusting but the 8 string is in good shape now! At some point I will need to upgrade the pickups on this thing because the stock ones are pretty low output but that's a project for another day.

Next up is the 8 string. Once again some oil on the board (already done) and some new strings. I did have to glue some of the ferrules on that back as they slipped out way to easily.

Jazzmaster is done! Stringing with split post tuners is super nice and easy! The lighter gauge feels much better in this guitar and the fretboard looks and feels much better now that it's been oiled.

Oh yeah, that fretboard was dry as hell.
Difference between a guitars fretboard with only oil up to the 12th fret. There's a clear difference between the the first 12 and the rest of the frets.

Up first is the Jazzmaster. It's the most recent guitar I acquired but I really want to put a lighter gauge on and the fretboard needs oiled.

New gear day! All of my guitars are very metal centric (and down tuned to at least drop C) so I wanted something to keep in standard to play punk mathrock and Midwest emo. I saw this and couldn't pass up the racing stripes and matching headstock. It's so much fun!

Finally started Lies of P. It's pretty fun so far! I did find this weird guy just laying there dead though. He had a cool hat so I took it.

Made it to the Eorzea Cafe today! Honestly the food is ok. The drinks are tasty but the overall vibe is top notch! I got an Estinien themed drink and a massive taco!

My wife and I had Sukiyaki last night for our anniversary dinner. It was delicious! This was my first time trying Waygu beef and it definitely lived up to the hype.

I walked 8 miles in Tokyo today, and it was worth every step.
