Acrylic, gouache paintings for possible beer label designs celebrating our community’s 100th year. (Not final layouts)

The sailboats were painted from photos by Bark Laker Grant Elliott. The other two are in private collections. This has been an enjoyable layout project, a different tack for me.

Spring is brief in Montreal. This year it’s been a mix of summery, then very cool. Gave me time to get this one ready for Artists in Montreal’s exhibition in Old Montreal. (Plus another little one) Won’t make it to the vernissage, have another event up north the next day… but it’ll be a good group!

Beautiful! Is this the same bridge? (Sorry, took a pic of my old phone, it won’t share) took these from the train.

A busy afternoon & evening ahead; picking up ceramics at Atèlier CCL from a course on the wheel, then a stop at the printer for the large Family Legacy book for which I’ve been doing the layout… finally, the vernissage at the Montreal Arts Council tonight for Women’s Art Society of Montreal.

A birthday painting done for my sister in law. It was a fast deadline with a week to get it done, but I think she’s pleased with it.

Spring’s getting closer! Took this from the train, on the way to work this morning. Love the tugboats. I don’t see them often.
