I'm playing Life is Strange: Double Exposure and noticed this band poster out of the corner of my eye and my brain instantly recalled the reference. Apparently, the Best Buy Y2K reminder sticker is solidified deep in my memory.

Whenever I get around to making promo for my game, I'm gonna slap on the RSAC rating graphic. Not that boring old ESRB nonsense.

When you come to Rust Valley don't forget to visit the fissure in town that's emitting green gas!
It's a super popular attraction!
And it's free!

I honestly do not remember a thing from it (also never beat it) and have also been thinking about picking it back up soon! In Googling this morning I also just learned there was a 3D sequel!??

I feel like these were kinda "bargain bin" games, maybe? I know Safecracker was.

OK, I'm a bit late to this but if you like liminal spaces + analog horror + sci fi environments, then you ABSOLUTELY NEED to play ROUTINE.
I have nothing but positive things to say about this game - 10/10.
A beautiful audiovisual horror experience, wrapped neatly in a ~6 hour experience.

I will say though, in my research I was surprised to find out how early they were adding lens flare in to games. Like I guess it was even in Ocarina of Time??

While I *am* trying to replicate the tech and game design of 90s point and click adventure games, I've also chosen to let myself include things that may not be period appropriate but look cool.

Like this lens flare!

ahh thank you for posting these! Nice surprise to see Ames again randomly! Here's a random picture of when a buddy broke in to one of the Towers (empty at the time) and set the lights up this way ahead of the rivalry game LOLOL

I'm using the magical JPGPU by @ompu.co to simulate the compression effects of a QuickTime video clip being played within a pre-rendered game 😊

GOG is having a classics sale right now and you can re-live my childhood for under 10 bucks!

Once you complete all four, i will send you my social security number.

You will then become me.

Needed some promotional movie cardboard stands for the theater in my game so I present to you:
- Family Vacation 6: Dimension X (with face cutouts for photos!)
AND
- Try Hard to Not Die (starring Gunner Hogg and Kelly Melons)
