I'm with you. At most, it's ok to show that bad people can have empathetic origins, but ultimately nothing justifies or excuses what they become. I love the Wicked or Maleficent story-flipping, but not "still did evil but feel bad for me waa"

The mind-boggling stupidity... Ok ladies. No representation? No taxation. Walk off your jobs. If you're not allowed a vote, you don't contribute a single penny in taxes. A general strike must happen if a whiff of this sentiment gets legitimate debate in government.

It's so jarring when people you've hugged end up supporting flimsy conspiracies and neo-fascist groups that posture as "freedom" pages... Or loved ones BELONGING to marginalized groups supporting regressive politics... Ow my brain / heart.
