The particular tattoo he has is one used by the SS 3rd Panzer division. It was used before Nazi Germany, but once the SS made it theirs, there’s really no other modern day associated message other than “I am a dedicated neo-Nazi.”

You have to make them empathize with the people being targeted, which means either publicly illustrating people being harmed in a visceral way, or showing the threat to those that are immediately important to them.
Gutter racism must be illustrated and shamed. Difficult when editors are Trumpers.
