We are not a purity test. And we deserve to not be thrown under the bus. Newsom shows NO sign of supporting us long term. If anything he's going to spiral even more to the right than he already is to further his political ambitions. This is absolutely the time to be criticizing potential candidates.

MLs aren't the only ones saying this, assuming that's what you mean by tankie. I tend to use it just for the authoritarian communists. And just because ML're right on Palestine, they're consistently wrong on the Uighur genocide, which is, in fact, *not* CIA propaganda.
