from what I can see on some posts the issue might be with trail components attached directly onto armature and ones existing outside of it and attached to it via constraints work fine, so if that's the case the update should fix this since the trail object has been moved to be easy to find

hmmmm, unfortunately I can't say why, but I do know two other people who also experience this with the lumi trails, when searching for it, it seems like other people also experience similar issues with trail renderers vrc, best I can say is it might be something to do with vrc and specific hardware?
