I’m trying to put more of I guess “myself” out there.

I just decided to start writing something at work the other day and it turned into a 7 minute piece I need to do something with. I love writing like this. Writing as if I’m writing for real players and embracing my concert music roots.

Today was the first day in months I just sat down and wrote something that didn’t have a clear purpose.

Professionally, I’m a composer first. I write music for Film and TV, but I’ve been going back to my concert music roots as well.
