That said, this bears the hallmarks of a negotiation tactic. When the league and the players eventually reach a deal, the owners can talk about how many things they "gave up" in the spirit of compromise for the good of the game and the league.

To say that I'm angry and disappointed is an understatement. I knew that BlueSky wasn't fantastic (it's billionaire owned after all), but a suspension over Johnny Cash lyrics?? I thought it was at least better than the likes of Twitter, but I guess I was laboring under a misconception there.
