The three stood back from the spot in the wall where Halk had planted explosives. An explosion rocked the hall, sending Corvii stumbling for a moment. When she regained her footing, she walked to the opening. Wind whistled upward, fast and powerful enough to carry both multi-ton robots.-

Corvii bit the inside of her lip and her finials flicked down. "I brought a few charges, yeah, just in case," she pulled three capsule-like devices from her subspace and set them down next to Halk.

"They-they don't have sparks, do they?" She squinted as she held a hand up to the tube, inspecting the specimen within. "They're not *alive*, right?" It was hard to tell. They were all still, suspended by the liquid inside, and the colors were washed out by orange.

Corvii looked closer at the tube she viewed earlier. Sure enough, it was...perhaps she was too focused on escaping to recognize the parts, the half formed beings within were the same species as *them*.
