This was a PITA to make work, getting characters to align so that the letters in either script looks properly kerned, to emulate word-wrapping. Took forever, but it's fully #CSS, no #JavaScript.
Got the idea from #MurderbotDiaries where displays would show a sci-fi script and then wipe to English.

Hades the very sick boi. Ultrasound didn't show anything, so the last thing we can (afford to) try is a feeding tube, steroids, and another day of in-patient care. After that we'll bring him home for a few days of palliative care and time to say goodbye. 😭

This little boi, Hades, is currently at the emergency vet where he spent the night. We noticed last week that he had lost weight and was not as active so we scheduled a vet visit for Thursday. When he started refusing food we took him to the vet yesterday. 😢

Why did the Western Standard lie about these numbers? Those numbers don't appear anywhere on the La Presse website or in the IMF's October 2024 report. I made a spreadsheet of the numbers from the IMF data portal and as you can see none of them match. #cdnpoli #politics #canada #canadapolitics
