Just finished a Staycation in the Sooke - Port Renfrew area. We an had an absolutely incredible time there. Lived on the Island all my life and never visited that part of the island before. Simply stunning!

Well this happened this morning at 2:00 am. Maybe a meteorite or space junk falling out of the sky? Way too big to be a blown electrical transformer and no news of blackouts or any emergency response. Pretty crazy!

Hoping it stays out there in the Pacific. We only lost power for a couple hours last night so far. Thankful for those dedicated Lineworkers!
