you'd expect this to be an anti-adblock (or vpn) feature, but weirdly enough this issue persisted after disabling all ad blockers (AND FFZ & 7tv AND my vpn), so it appears the actual cause was some random other extension, somehow.

(i think i ran firefox in safe mode to temp disable extensions fwiw)

i feel like i remember this being an issue with cookies and extensions vaguely. like, this error message is just wrong (if you log in incognito/private window/fresh profile, it should work). iirc, the only fix was like:
- clear cookies
- disable extensions
- log in
- re-enable extensions

ah, well if it's 7/8 flinches it IS more like 0.13%..

(and fwiw 2/10 crits is about 13%)

yep, for me, bnet launcher is kinda a PITA and took some amount of setup but as soon as u get it to download and launch wow its worked perfectly. hoping that copy/paste issue doesn't surface for me :p

(fwiw: GE-Proton (Latest) has been the nicest bnet runner in my experience so far..)
