In signing his Executive Order doing away with DEI programs in the federal government, Donald Trump waxed poetic that federal hiring would now be based solely on “merit” - of course with no hint of irony coming from a man who nominated a Fox News Weekend anchor for Sec Def. Oh please 🙄
