How do you get these GB screenshots? Is this an emulator with the best screen filter I've ever seen? Or are these the most perfect straight-on photos of a real GB screen I've ever seen? The subtle shadows under the pixels are great.

The Wikipedia notation doesn't make intuitive sense to me because, say you wanted to raise the point at α³ but keep all other control points stationary. You just couldn't do it, every point with α would increase in value

After a cursory search, I found this article, where the author presents basically the same equation: blog.demofox.org/2019/12/07/b...
Only here, they've replaced the combinations of coefficients with subscripted constants like you might expect of values that you're supposed to plug in yourself.

Worth noting that the picture and accompanying desc. were written by one guy in 2003, with no edits since other than for formatting. At one point, this is what the entire page for Bezier Triangle looked like. I think this is a case of bad notation, and possibly a not necessarily correct equation.

I'm sure a faculty member could bring this up as a technicality on why the rule is a bad idea, but I think in practice the response would be, "Well of course we don't mean the cis students." On a human level, someone must be aware of how asinine that is, in order to leave a note like that.

It's interesting to me that that's the only part crossed out, with "Can call by preferred name" written along the bottom. Calling people by the wrong name to their faces is a step too far for these people, but erasing them is easy enough when they can keep the concept of a trans person abstract.
