Sometimes! In that instance I usually put the big scissors away and pull out the safety scissors, small scissors, or snips. I would contact the con organizers ahead of time to make sure your tools can be brought in with you.

&2: have a tip/donation jar. If you can’t have a tip jar bc of con rules etc, put out your socials & put a dono link there. These skills are valuable and you should be compensated for them!

Oh man there’s a lot but the biggest pieces of advice I can give you is 1: if you don’t feel comfortable doing a repair for any reason (lack of skill, bad vibes, etc)- don’t do the repair. Sometimes your gut is very right.

Despite everything that has happened in the last 2 weeks i’ve managed to stay pretty productive! Today i’m going to work on a full supply list for the website and graphics to promote some of my lesser used supplies (did you know I have pros-aide? And paradise paints in most colors?)
