I mean, I love the creativity in TOS! I grew up on that and TNG. My Dad is an old school trek fan and we watched together
But I can see where they do cheep out on SNW & it makes me crazy! The costumes give everyone double nipples and I bet they’re having them made in a factory not a costume shop

This is exactly it. It also means crew is never sure when and if they have a job and for how long. Used to be you knew when you’d start shooting for a Fall season premiere and when you’d stop after 22 eps. Now? Who knows! And what job can you get to fill in the gaps?

Paying people is expensive and everything is custom. We expect a lot more out of sci fi now. The below the line workers already get the shaft.

The irony here is that it’s the Props people’s job to ensure that the knives on set are absolutely not sharp even a little bit!

I have an MFA in Theatrical Design and technical production focusing on costumes and I’d say that makes me an expert on verifying the historical accuracy of showing cleavage.

I basically don’t care about any sports ball games, but I just told my husband we’re at least watching the opening because I absolutely don’t want to miss whatever they’re planning to do!

Any union worth its salt should represent this and grieve. Even IF he was wrong. UAW has the strength to stand up to this.
All workers and especially union workers need to watch how UAW handles this and think about who you want in your corner.

I pay for therapy on my own. My therapist only takes Aetna and my insurance doesn’t cover any therapy. But therapy has been vital for me over the last three years. And trusting your therapist if the most important thing.
