For clarity I think MAGA and ICE are following the Nazi ideology exactly, and see no reason why they won't continue to follow that same route to its conclusion unless they're stopped, but I don't think Derek's point is wrong. Aesthetically they seem more 21st C. military, than 30s/40s (so far)

But isn't he literally correct in that it isn't a Nazi coat any more than it is any other 20th Century military coat? It's not hard to imagine that they're wearing them because they want to ape the aesthetics of Nazism (and the actions), but Derek's point is that it's bringing more militarism
