between the on-screen zombie birth and the alpha weiner-swinging it felt like a bit much 😂

Day 8: The Descent. This movie is pretty much exactly what I would expect to happen if I fell into a gigantic hole in the appalachian mountains

me as the repair man explains the problem with the furnace in detail

Day 7: Them (Ils). An absolutely gripping home invasion thriller that doesn’t waste a minute of its short 78 minute run time.

Day 6: Pulse. One of the best out of Japan. I’ll never watch this by myself at night again.

Day 5: V/H/S 2 (Safe Haven segment). Some of the best short-form horror I’ve ever seen. Needs a feature-length treatment ASAP.

Day 4: The Wailing. One of my favorites from the mid 2000’s.

Day 3: Coherence. I rewatched this one just seconds after the credits rolled on my first watch and it’s kind of a low key masterpiece.

Day 2: Black Sabbath. A trio of tales presented by Boris Karloff (among the first anthology horror format movies). The first story, “The Telephone,” is hands down the best of the bunch (at least to me).

31 days of Halloween 31 horror movies. First up:

Exorcist 3: Legion. I love everything about this movie and still have nightmares about getting chased by demons trying to cut my head off with giant scissors.
