Today was my first full day in the kitchen by myself and honestly I killed it I'm so proud of myself

First day was amazing by the way!! My coworkers are super friendly and easy to talk to (and also neurodivergent) and the stuff I have to do is super easy and fun, definitely happy so far

That's where I'm at. I just got a job because my boyfriend and I just bought a house and combined with the burnout and bills it's just not feasible to keep relying solely on art anymore :(

It's so depressing :( I miss how things used to be but honestly this economy has made it impossible. I've come to hate drawing because I've worked myself too much to keep up and I've failed as a result

My biggest priority is to start working my new job and feel financially comfortable to pay my bills and consider refunding some people maybe. I'll work on what I can in the meantime but I really just hate my art it's ridiculous

Once I finish what I owe I'm taking a very much needed break from art I think. I just can't really do this anymore for a while, I'm so burnt out on it and I have such a negative view on my own art it's extremely hard to start at all

Just finished the job walkthrough orientation thing this morning and I'm actually so excited :D I'm only working in the kitchen to make donuts and pizza so I won't have to interact with customers at all
