Today is the 53rd anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, a landmark decision that guaranteed womens’ right to bodily autonomy.

While it has since been overturned, this Council remains committed to protecting and expanding access to reproductive care for all New Yorkers.

BREAKING: Today, Speaker Julie Menin announced the Council's five-point action plan to combat antisemitism and strengthen community safety in NYC, with a focus on Holocaust education, protecting schools and houses of worship, and confronting hate citywide.
