NDT. An expert, but not perfect-as we all are not perfect. However his ability to listen, process, admit being incorrect, then get excited at learning something new is just, well, brilliant.

Boundaries can be good and healthy, regardless of what others think or feel.

Diversity requires diversity of thought. Silencing divergent thought does not eliminate it. You want to change closely-held beliefs? Science says there is a way...

Will it always work? No, but what else has been shown to work?

I keep seeing posts about how Trump is engaging in attacks on foreign soil. Let us not forget Obama, who increased the use of these attacks on foreign soil.l, or other Presidents who did the same.

I am fine taking a stand, but it shouldn't waiver based on who is in the White House.

You make recommendations on books for all to read, and someone thinks you are trying to inappropriately affect how kids think. Oh, the books recommended?

1. Elements of Style.
2. Public Opinion, by Walter Lippmann; &
3. Thinking Fast and Slow, by Daniel Kahneman.

🤷🏻‍♂️

The amount of shrill panic on social media, regardless of platform, is a bit concerning. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣

Book recommendations, not authors you like (too many).

I'll recommend:

1. The Elements of Style (people need to know the difference between, well, between and among, effect and affect, and so much more);

2. Public Opinion, by Walter Lippmann; and

3. Thinking Fast and Slow, by Daniel Kahneman.

Who to follow on social media? Not what the algorithm suggests. Why? It shows you what you already post/like. We all need exposure to those who are different. Support diversity? That must include some diversity of thought, and I'm not talking about acceptance of illegal actions, etc. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

I enjoy physics, law, and science, and I see many people, who feel very strongly about issues, make statements that simply are not true. I'm left wondering if they care that they are wrong, don't care and will hold onto falsehoods as it supports their feelings, or ... 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thoughts?
