I'm fairly certain that Ukraine isn't going for that deal. Trump is just trying to give Putin what Russia hasn't been able to win on the battlefield.
This is nothing but a plan cooked up by Putin and Trump to asset strip Ukraine. And if Tump offers security guarantees they won’t be worth the paper they are written on.
Russia will just regroup and attack in a few years time.
