It seems a lot more daunting than it is, honestly. It's incredibly fun, 5e is not hard to learn at all, and everyone will make mistakes sometimes so don't stress about things like that. You should try it!

Frutiger aero and its ilk (my favorite is technozen, the green one) do this to me. It's just something about those colors and shapes that feels so comforting to me. I guess it's because that's what technology looked like when I was a very small child, so seeing it now evokes that kind of nostalgia.
