Surely, if anyone thinks they are "entitled" to #Greenland, it should be #Canada, but they are too polite and sensible to say so. The two are very close at the Northern end and none of Greenland is anywhere near the #USA>

As a matter of interest: American and British dates are written in a different order, i.e. 2025 12 22 and 22 12 2025. How is the USA one spoken? Or do you say the twenty-first of December 2025? Something to think about on Christmas Day. Bored already.

My husband just put the washing in the machine, then hung it in the garden to dry. I said thank you! I can't believe I did that, given that I've done it every time up to now! He's just taken my dashcam out of my car, prior to sale and I thanked him for that, but I'm obviously better mannered.

What has happened to the forecast? The readers are using slightly different intonations and speaking very quickly. I can't quote how it used to be, but in the last few months - a year? - it has changed, i.e. 5to7 as one word...

I'm an #NHS pensioner of 19 years' standing. I just filled in a boring questionnaire to "help them improve the service". One of the final questions was asking if I was pregnant or breast feeding. I'm 79....I wonder what the survey cost?

Today's ADHD.I have spent days trying to get round to doing 3 things online; sort out travel ins.Complain about my #iRoomba, buy a car. Couldn't do it. Then I DID! Everything done.Bought a car (unseen!) Paperwork filed. Now listening to podcasts with a clear conscience. And I treated the cat's ears.

I'm trying to help my hospital improve the signage. A thankless task, as we all experience the deficiencies. I just have -and I work there! Any info you might have on simplifying signs in large campuses/buildings would be appreciated. I'm thinking of issuing large balls of string as patients arrive.

We have people coming for supper tonight, so we both buckled down. He drilled bigger holes in the watering can rose and I have spring-cleaned upstairs, inc. INSIDE the hoover, none of which they're going to see. He's now gone to the village shop for food....displacement activity writ large.

I hear 2 iterations of the #shippingforecast each day and am intrigued by Valencia and Liverpool Crosby,which I can't see on any map of the sea areas.I see that L Crosby is an actual place,but the only Valencia I know is the one in Spain, on the East coast.They are in the inshore waters part.
