Just a fan of space and science! Was a member of Astrobiscuit’s B.A.T. (Big Amateur Telescope) but that has been shelved unfortunately

Dems. Wanna get your polling out of the gutter? Stop talking about redrawing house maps in blue states and do it. Go big. Don't match them seat for seat. Blow them out of the water. Then endorse Mamdani. You're welcome.

Anybody looking for a good mini-PC to control their telescope should look at the Astro-Gadget AstroPC 🔭

I've got the original AstroPC Pro controlling my small scope and just purchased the updated AstroPC Pro II to finally replace my 5 year old Raspberry Pi on my large telescope.

Ever wonder how gravitational wave detectors like LISA would hear the signal of binary black holes orbiting around a supermassive black hole? 🔭

Well check out my first 1st author paper investigating that very topic, live on the arXiv today!

Evolution of LISA Observables for Binary Black Holes Lensed by an SMBH
Binary black holes (BBH) are expected to form and merge in active galactic nuclei (AGN), deep in the potential well of a supermassive black hole (SMBH), from populations that exist in a nuclear star c...

Spent the last few nights working on the Sombrero Galaxy (Messier 104) 🔭

I definitely should have used the larger scope since I had to crop this in quite a bit, but I'm still pleasantly surprised with the results even at 355mm focal length
