Got passed over for a job I really thought I was gonna get. The second time I’ve interviewed amazingly at my company and then had them go with someone else. Suspicious.

I’ve barely slept in 3 nights because my toddler is running a high fever and refusing medicine (painkiller and antibiotics). Idk how to dose him. He’s not eating so I can’t sneak it in food.

I just finished Witchcraft for Wayward Girls by Grady Hendricks and I'll be thinking about it for a while. He's one of my favorite horror authors but he should try writing dark historical fiction. It was such a good, sad book.

My work did a stealth welfare check on me today because I haven't been in the office for three weeks. Week one was PTO, then I got the flu. Or was cursed by djinn, idk... But I'll drag my ass back in once I'm not contagious. This is really going around. Even the podcasters I listen to are all sick

I never use all my PTO so I'm figuring out how to hack my holidays and take long weekends throughout the year. Maybe I should just put in for it at the start so I have dibs?
