Attacks like this have effects are much wider than the bean count on specific ships or submarines put out of action.

Russia now has a choice. Invest even more in defense of the base (and never feel safe), or find a safer base (there isn't one short of a full withdrawl from the Black Sea)

Reported drone strike on Turkish linked ship Viva (IMO 9156539) in black sea. Fottage of the aftermath shows the distinctive four-cylinder engine used in the Russian (/Iranian) Geran (/Shahed) strike drone. Second photo for reference, other way up

Ukrainian Navy reports that russians deliberately attacked the Turkish vessel VIVA in the Black Sea with drones.

The vessel was heading to Egypt carrying sunflower oil. Its passage through the sea was conducted via the grain corridor. There were 11 Turkish citizens on board.
