At one point I kept a list of Guardian reviews which had either a rave - or very negative - headline, where the rating was three stars.

@htw.bsky.social Hi, driving myself a bit mad trying to identify this man - still taken from 1991 LWT promo. I recognise him, a stand-up comedian (I’m fairly sure) but no names are coming to mind. Any ideas? Thanks!

All sorts of rather snide accusations that I've "fallen in love with Asda's German Style Sausage Selection" coming at me from other parts of my brain. Unnecessary.

Over the past few months I’ve been compiling a playlist of songs that have popped into my head from nowhere and got stuck there for a bit. This is how all DJs should operate.

The more political content I see online, the more I want to learn Italian by reading PG Wodehouse in translation.

When I was young, I thought I was pretty much alone in thinking Clem Burke was an especially amazing musician. He inspired me to be a (bad, failed) drum student at school. And it turns out there were a vast number of us Clem fans, drumsticks clattering to the floor after trying to twirl them.
