Well, had he done absolutely nothing with his inherited wealth from Daddy other than putting it into savings or the market, he would probably be wealthier than he is after running many businesses into bankruptcy. The man is not good with money and knows nothing about economics.

The point is that it was humane application of laws versus what we have now. You may disagree with the laws but that is missing the point that there are inhumane and humane ways of implementing them. I understand it does not sound good. But given the current administration, I prefer humane.

I know and agree. It's just not always the best choice in my personal opinion, especially when images matter so much as they do right now.

Why do they look so happy in the face of what we are experiencing? I am sure they are sincere but it seems an odd way to show resistance, dismay, anger, and/or concern.

At a distance. It may seem funny up close but it's very dangerous. I suspect it can make them cling more tightly to their clan and delusions of superiority. Up close, it increases the chance they'll lash out and that is dangerous for everyone around them. Is that what we want? It's not what I want.
