also the raid was fun
they're a bit on the easy side so I didn't even wipe all the much playing at 6 am which is a bummer
the music is the real star of the raids this time, especially the collaboration track

the story is good, its a fun little tournament arc

the end of every patch has been the most vague teaser ever and its made the game feel like it has no direction and nothing to be excited about in the future

this one was like BAM here's a new character who immediately grabs your attention, a fun twist, and... wow is that the plot of this new arc?

But tonight Lv1 is alive and in the west
highlands with his herd. It is a perfect
winter evening: the moon rising over
the ice fields, the snow in the wind.
And as he stares into the skybox, there
is 1/50th as much health as usual.

Also in a theoretical future when the bubble pops and most of the ethical concerns of the technology are gone it'd be useful to know what the uses are moving forward

I'm generally anti-AI in the sense that the technology is too ethically compromised right now that I would personally not use it

But if someone has found uses for it to make their job actually better I wouldn't begrudge them for it

Like if there are uses of the technology that developers find genuinely valuable I think that'd be interesting to hear about
But like... From their perspective, not their boss lol

and the game feeds you EXP candies like crazy the more you do the DLC
so you can get whatever mons you want to level cap in no time at all
I was about to grind the base game to get there but I decided to push through and thank god I did lmao

I also feel like the reputation that this DLC is hard is... odd
I mean they aren't afraid to throw you into shit thats probably way above your level but its a bit misleading because you dont need to fight all that much

its a shame because I do really like this expansion
It lets these writers tell a nice little story with this cast and you TELL they fucking loved it

its probably the best cast of characters a Pokemon game has ever had tbh
