I (sort of) directed the Anarchy Online storyline for a while. I'd write interactive plotlines, GM the events for it, direct folks playing NPCs. It was unpaid and uncredited, but there is a memorial to some of my work ingame where the Borealis dish used to be (cause I blew it up ^^)

Ragnar Tørnquist was a big influence for me too! I even got to write official storylines for Funcom in one of his worlds back in the day.

Interestingly I wondered if the Wildernight had been inspired at all by his writing in the Shadowlands expansion for Anarchy Online. There's a lot of similarity.

I meant the noise it makes when you knock on it ^^ but I guess other features are good too!

How does it sound?

It makes a lovely noise (it's also a really cool game ^^)

I noticed you have a mech thing going on right now!

Nice! Hope you enjoy knocking on it as much as I did :)

Honourable mention to The One Ring, which was definitely in the top 3, but was disqualified on a technicality

Can't wait to have some thoughts on it! Enjoy yours :)

Alright so just to confirm I just spent a few minutes holding the book up to my monitor ^^ It's more difficult to make out that subtle noise texture and bloom the images have, and the colours are slightly deeper and redder. But otherwise it's just as pleasing to my brain :)

I may have been influenced by Dragonmeet FOMO and bought way too many books last week.

Sorry! It's lovely having the physical version - just as vibrant in print as the pdfs and those leaflet expansions are so cool. Doubt I'll get to play it until the holidays though.

I've wanted a physical copy of Substratum Protocol for ages - an apocalyptic scientific expedition to the Earth's core.

And Home I somewhat recently learned about - basically Pacific Rim the RPG?

Dead Letter Society & The Almanac of Sanguine Paths are epistolary creative writing games about secret societies and/or werewolves. @thebadspot.bsky.social convinced me to get them back in July!

ASTROPRISMA is a cyberpunky space exploration game I backed in... um... March?
