If you haven't read Isaac Asimov's I, Robot, or haven't read it recently I suggest you read it. It is so much more relevant today than when it was written and an awesome read. Note, it is note like the movie by the same name other than the basic robot rule premise.

My pup Ginger can be a finicky eater. I recently came across this product, I think I found it at Walmart, or Target, but she it addicted it to. She actually runs into the kitchen just hearing the bag open. So if you have a finicky eater, give it a shot. I just sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon on her food.
