Has any other main character in Star Trek ever cheated on their partner? I genuinely can't think of a single one. There are Ferengi who have shown more respect towards their partners than SNW Spock! Why should we believe that a half-Vulcan Starfleet officer would behave in that manner?

There's nothing to suggest that non-monogamy is normalized in Vulcan culture. If that were the case then why did T'Pol and Phlox talk about it?

I like how you're not actually engaging with any of the points I made

"Emotional mess" does not mean that he's going to go and disrespect others by cheating

I'm literally a mathematician who has published research on logic so I know what I'm talking about! Logic isn't something you can just make exceptions for, it needs to be consistent otherwise it's illogical!

Because the thing about logic is that it needs to be consistent. We know that Spock can't handle logical inconsistencies well because he literally locked himself in a psychiatric facility for it in DIS! So why the hell would he be able to handle the inconsistency of being engaged and cheating?!

Similarly Spock wouldn't fuck around because it would show that he is not reliable or honest and couldn't uphold his end of an agreement. It is completely inconsistent with logic and it's just fandom slop pandering to babies.

Vulcans also do have a sense of honor, though unlike Klingons theirs is based in logic. T'Pol brought dishonor upon her family when she called off her engagement in ENT because it showed other Vulcans that they weren't reliable, but she wasn't fucking around then.

SNW completely retconned Vulcans when they showed Pike, Uhura, etc behaving "logically" after becoming Vulcan. This is totally inconsistent with what we know about Vulcans' emotional nature and the necessity of training to achieve logic as shown in movies 3-4 and in VOY with Tuvok's flashbacks.

Jesus you're all just a bunch of babies who are content to consume your fandom slop. Consistency matters and fuckboy Spock isn't at all consistent with Spock in TOS, TOS movies, DIS, or Kelvin! The writers need to stop catering to fans and especially shippers.

This isn't to say that she was equally as bad as Trump, but believing that voters have a loyalty to their party no matter how bad their candidates and policies are is how political cults like the GOP operate. Democratic voters don't want to be treated the way Republicans treat their voters.
