Was briefly annoyed that Music-dot-app was showing bad metadata in my library for an album because it listed an old schoolmate as creator of one of the tracks on a compilation. Went and checked and yes, actually, that person DOES have a track on that album. Way to go, Beth!

What we see here (and interpret as the advent of some new 'danger' we need to worry about) is just the chaos of change. We should focus on bad behaviors over simply (and lazily) setting limits on technology that affect everyone regardless of behavior...just like we do elsewhere.

We don't punish people for having fast cars, we punish people who use fast cars inappropriately. Bikes shouldn't be different.

Can people use extra fast e-bikes in dangerous ways? Sure! And we should punish that *behavior* not the bike, or others who use the same kind of bike (responsibly).

My unpopular urbanist opinion is that big, hyperfast two-wheelers are a menace and should be banned from bike lanes/paths (with enforcement).

These things endanger everyone riding a bike or legal e-bike. Worse, they deter some from even trying.

E-bikes have evolved into e-motorcycles. Law enforcement is lagging behind.

Serious injuries are on the rise in emergency rooms around the country, as electric cycles become bigger and faster. Lawmakers and police departments are scrambling to address the problem.

I love this! I resurrected my uni's astronomy club while I was an undergrad and we renamed it "URSA," an acronym, for "University Rocketeers, Spacejunkies, and Astronomers." Gotta love a good acronym organization.

The only thing here that leaps out to me as an issue is that the Navajo rez isn't really distinct here, and if this is a map of *culture*, specifically, it ought to be. But lots of other stuff on this map seems very right to me.

Adding a second layer - OFFsite! - to your data security procedures is easier than starting backups in the first place, but adds waaay more data security than simply keeping a first backup ONsite.
