Good news: the light meter in my mat-124G actually works.
Bad news: I can’t get to the wire for the battery terminal because I don’t have the right socket to remove a single nut… #camerarepair

I managed to clean most of the garbage out of this camera, but the glass is still in rough shape and the shutter speeds are off by a little bit. I’m pressing my luck with a roll of Kodak gold 200, so we’ll see how it goes. #analogcamera #filmcamera #yashicamat124g

Got a new camera for my collection! I have wanted a Yashica mat-124G for years, and I finally got one… but it’s in rough shape. Fungus and haze in the taking lens, sticky shutter speeds, and a bit of rust inside. On top of all that, the light meter window is broken… along with the meter. #filmcamera

Got a new camera for my collection! I have wanted a Yashica mat-124G for years, and I finally got one… but it’s in rough shape. Fungus and haze in the taking lens, sticky shutter speeds, and a bit of rust inside. On top of all that, the light meter window is broken… along with the meter. #filmcamera

I stocked up on some 35mm film the other day. I absolutely love ilford xp2 super, and you can’t go wrong with portra. I’m really interested in trying the lomochrome turquoise, and I have the 320D already in my camera. I also have some 120 film on the way for a new camera that I am excited about!

My latest thrift find! I’ve never actually used a film point and shoot with a zoom lens. I just loaded up a roll of expired 800 speed film, so we’ll see how it goes! #pentax #filmcamera

I finally managed to get out the other day and shoot with this thing. I have no idea when I’ll be able to develop and scan the film, but it really felt good to just get out and use it. #filmcamera #4x5camera

I found a bunch of movies on VHS the other day while thrifting, including the original Alien trilogy box set. Fun fact: I had never seen Alien until now.

I found a cheap pair of IEMs for $13, and they aren’t half bad. I needed them to use while wearing my mandalorian helmet during streams and for the costume’s hearing amplifier.

I’m really excited to finally shoot 4x5! I’ve tried 400d once before, but the results were horrible due to bad developer. I’ll probably end up sending this to a lab instead of processing myself just to be safe. #analogphotography

I got a new light today. I originally wanted to use it as a backlight replacement, but I think it works better as a fill in my streaming setup. I think I’m up to 14 photo and video lights that I’ve collected over the years… I don’t have a problem. #amaran #streamingsetup
