Wasn't that many new ones in the end - commemorative coins are surprisingly rare nowadays, but maybe I just switched to digital with a card and stopped using actual cash, don't see coins that much in my pocket now

Funnily enough I've exceeded the limit on one of the accounts on Ucoin, wish there was a decent offline way to catalogue coins though, even stamps have StampManage with it's database and Scott catalogue license

Granted you can chuck about 20-30 of them under a book press to straighten up but it's a fun box

Also just learned that stamps with glue on their back but stamped could be CTO or could be forgeries. Huh.

Hey. What do you know. It is at the very least 1000-2000 German stamps.

And yeah, font is deliberate, have a wheel of Courier 10 for a typewriter, using Samsung SQ-1030. Wanted to type out the adverts but holy crap am I glad that I didn't go that route.

As simple as it gets but still interesting how it's actually gonna go, though I do have my doubts that it's gonna be impactful in any way. Worth the shot in any case, small town, people talk.

I like how the site is unreachable in russia without VPN for seemingly no reason whatsoever, nothing is blocked, it's just, doesn't work. CSS doesnt want to load in any way, shape or form, even if it's the same server and the same site

I miss Ebay and it's generous sales of ~10 bucks for 1000 or 2000 stamps

Found out anothe Bsky quirk - no more than one video per post. Oh well

People develop old color film in cold ECN-2. What is that? What time you take? Temperature? Hell if I know, been looking for that kind of info for 5 years.
October 27, 2025 at 3:23 PM
Point is - when you try to search how to develop something - nothing comes up. Same thing nowadays with b&w - "oh it's standard, oh it's d-76" - what the fuck is a standard b&w process and what's the time and temperature, so much frustration and unnecessary obfuscation
October 27, 2025 at 3:22 PM
Running a home lab myself and seeing direct results from my own and my clients films - it's virtually same, apart from a lot of cinefilm stocks being expired and fucky to get consistent colors from but that's a skill issue
October 27, 2025 at 3:19 PM
And the ECN-2 chemistry handles expired film SO MUCH BETTER than C-41 does, like, why even bother. Online people say that it alters colors when you do this kind of cross-process but for the life of me I cant see any difference doing both
October 27, 2025 at 3:19 PM
On this topic - we live in an age where there is so much information and many enthusiasts in film area but any info on ECN-2 is summarized as - "on it's too complex just use C-41 film". Process itself just needs to wash the soot from the film, it ain't that hard

Maybe I'm misinformed but that's how it looks at a glance
