Sebring in Automobilista 2 at night is such a beautiful track (the BMW is also quite the looker!). Really glad it got added to the game.

This is sad, but not completely unexpected. I played a bit of XDefiant when it was released and thought it was pretty fun! But it’s hard to compete with COD, especially one like Black Ops 6.

This is sad, but not completely unexpected. I played a bit of XDefiant when it was released and thought it was pretty fun! But it’s hard to compete with COD, especially one like Black Ops 6.

Played a really fun LFM race last night in AMS2. It was my first time racing on Cascais (Estoril) 1988 and I ended up in 9th place overall. I love driving the Group A cars! Also, this happened on the first lap:

Picked up Legend Bowl on sale. I’m not a huge NFL fan, but this is much more fun than any Madden game I’ve played. It might look arcade-y, but it’s actually a pretty solid football game.

A lucky crit hit my son’s Centurian, destroying the LRM ammo in its torso. His mech immediately suffered 120 damage and blew up. Life lessons, right? 🤣

Last night I made gumbo and it was delicious! The dark roux I used in it took almost an hour and a half of constant stirring to get to the right color. As a result, my arm and shoulder are quite sore today! 🤕

For anyone who wants to race some short ovals on PC and doesn’t want to pay an arm and a limb for iRacing, the SRX game is fantastic! Too bad the actual SRX series only lasted a few seasons.

The World Photographer mode in the new Flight Simulator is pretty fun and some of the landmarks have interesting challenges (like photographing the Sphinx from a certain angle).

Don’t throw away your shrimp shells, boil them with water to make shrimp stock! I’m going to be using mine today to make some yummy gumbo 🍤 😋

It’s my youngest’s birthday today and he is watching Cars 2. What a weird children’s movie, with a convoluted plot and even car guns! I enjoyed the first movie (his favorite), but this one is kind of a mess.

Decided to teach my son to play classic Battletech tonight. Definitely not an easy game to teach to an 8-year-old, but I think he understands the basics.
