Savoury with plenty of fruit lurking in the background. Polished tannins are very much in support of a wine that is certainly the product of plenty of sunshine. Dark and ripe, with a touch of coffee. A touch rustic and would make an ideal partner to a bbq !

At the most recent Decanter Panel Tasting, three CPW South African Chardonnays scored 91 points or higher - an exceptional achievement that highlights the outstanding quality of these talented producers.

Just returned from a fabulous short break to Andalusia where the fino was topped up from barrel, the orange blossom scented the streets, olive oil glugged at every meal and the wild flowers covered the mountains. A glorious place to explore.

The vineyards of the Domaine St Hilaire are incredibly beautiful. Not to mention the Domaine itself.
