Management: deeply incompetent. I think my favourite part is how none of the managers actually know how to do anything. All they do is tell someone who *does* to do it. But because the company is cheap and doesn’t give enough hours, there’s never anyone around. I do love making shareholders richer 🙄

Being neurodivergent makes working retail feel like I’m in the Bad Place™️. Not only from needing to lie constantly that people aren’t pissing me off pretending that I’m not furious, but the need to mask every second while at work just drains my batteries down to nothing. 😓

Well that’s unfortunate. Mine is a Cintiq 16 but if they’re dropping support on the older ones I don’t imagine it’ll be spared for long. Unfortunate how Wacom has gone downhill 😑

That’s… not great. I admit I have a Wacom Cintiq albeit an old one but since I ended up doing a lot of procreate I ended up mostly drawing on my iPad anyway. I miss the size sometimes but all this tablet driver stuff makes me scared to even try plugging it back in 😓

That’s… not great. I admit I have a Wacom Cintiq albeit an old one but since I ended up doing a lot of procreate I ended up mostly drawing on my iPad anyway. I miss the size sometimes but all this tablet driver stuff makes me scared to even try plugging it back in 😓

Although, I am also quite eager to take on Mike Mattesi’s FORCE drawing next! I’m quite mystified how one can use so few lines to get such a lifelike/dynamic figure!

That’s the plan! 🥰 The course I’m taking is called “Constructive Figure Drawing,” the course afterwards in the module is “Dynamic Gesture Drawing” so I guess the intent is to teach that afterwards. 🤔 Although, the teacher does talk about gesture as the long-axis curve. I’ll keep it more in mind

I’m currently working through a figure-drawing course online by Steve Huston, I’m hoping that I’ll be able to find some IRL sessions for it too. Drawing from a photograph feels less intuitive–the image is already flattened. 🤔

I actually just played Link's Awakening for the first time, and while in many respects the game shows its age (small map, no 'quest management' system to keep track of what you're doing, Jumping being tied to an item) it was a breath of fresh air compared to how overwhelming ToTK can feel. 😁
